About the Bo Hyun Sa

Bo Hyun Sa is a Korean Buddhist Temple associated with the Chogye order of Korean Buddhism. The temple serves the Korean Buddhist population of Fort Lauderdale, Miami and West Palm Beach. Shoes are never worn inside a Korean temple, so please remove your shoes as you enter and change into socks to wear while in the temple. Also, we ask that you kindly avoid wearing heavy perfume and silence your personal electronic devices. The temple is supported by its members and donations are appreciated and encouraged.

From I-75

  • Take exit 13B which is Griffin Rd West.
  • Head West on Griffin Rd for about two miles until reaching SW 178th Ave.
  • SW 178th Ave has two large “Rolling Oaks” signs on brick structures on each side of its entrance.
  • Turn left (South) on SW 178th Ave. 
  • Stay on SW 178th Ave (also known as Mather Blvd.) for about two miles until 70th Place (just before the Dead End sign).
  • Turn right (West) on 70th Place and continue for less than ½ mile until 70th Place ends at 182nd Way.
  • Turn left (South) on 182nd Way.      
  • Continue for a very short distance. The temple is a two-story ranch-style home, and is the last home on the left.
